This year’s Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award longlist includes Alfian Sa’at and Felix Cheong. Other notable names for me include Deborah Levy and George Saunders. There is of course no shortage of big names either, with Joyce Carol Oates, Emma Donoghue, and Junot Diáz all making the list as well.
